My dehumidifier has more friends then I do...

When I posted before about my twittering dehumidifier, I never thought it would get the number of people following it, making fun of it, etc. that it does.

Well, now its official. Ryan has too much time on his hands. He has created a Munin plugin called munin-dehumid-status, which will plot the fullness of my dehumidifier’s tank. You can see the plots in IPv6 (for the ultimate e-penis experience) or IPv4 if you’re a “normal” person.

In slightly related news: I’m thinking about redoing the code that runs both on the Arduino and on the EeePC that it is tethered to. I was considering making that the first endpoint in a wireless Xbee network I have been plotting, to further include a weather station, and maybe some other monitoring (my thermostat is getting kind of old…).
